5. Confirm by entering PIN

NB: Redemption can only be done with a minimum of 200 points.

Terms and Conditions

The promo is bound by the following terms and conditions:

  1. The promotion is targeting all G-Money customers.
  2. Customers are encouraged to transact more as points would be accrued based on certain transaction types.
  3. The minimum amount to spend to accrue a promo point is 1 pesewa.
  4. Every point is equivalent to 1 pesewa thus 100 Points is equivalent to GHS1.
  5. All non-chargeable transactions earn 1 loyalty point.
  6. G-Money to G-Money transactions earn a minimum of 1 point and a maximum of 10 points.
  7. Transactions leaving G-Money’s ecosystem such as cash out and Mobile Money Interoperability Out earn a minimum of 1 point and a maximum of 10 points.
  8. The purchase of airtime of any amount earns the customer 1 loyalty point, irrespective of amount.
  9. G-Money customers with linked GCB bank accounts will earn 1 point for every Bank-to -Wallet and/or Wallet-to-Bank transactions.
  10. Every G-Money transaction spent on G-Money’s biller or merchant services will earn 5 points.
  11. G-Money customers belonging to a group on G-Money will earn 10 points for every deposit they make into the group.
  12. Loyalty points earned can be redeemed in G-Money as cash. This can be done on G-Money’s USSD, stating with *422# and going through the redemption steps.
  13. Customers can only redeem with a minimum of 200 points which is equivalent to GHS 2.
  14. Customers who redeem their points as cash would be notified by SMS notification when it is successful.
  15. Loyalty points earned per transaction will be displayed on Customers’ phone. Customers have the access to view accrued loyalty points on G-Money’s USSD.
  16. Agents and merchants of G-Money are exempted from this promotion.
  17. G-Money reserves the right to forfeit a customer’s points when it is proven that the customer used any fraudulent means to participate in the promo.
  18. This promo will run for 3 months but is subject to extension after review as deemed appropriate.
  19. All points accrued during the 3-month period can be redeemed 1 month after the promo ends after which period the chance to redeem will be considered to have lapsed.
  20. Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary in these terms and conditions, G-Money is entitled to immediately terminate, discontinue, withdraw or suspend the promotion without notice.
  21. It can also impose conditions or restrictions on the transactions that will earn points without notice, based on market dynamics.
  22. Furthermore, it can vary the conditions for earning points, flexing or tightening it after marketing trends and dynamics, without notice.
  23. If the customer encounters any challenges, he/she shall notify the Customer Service Center for assistance and resolution.
